Brogan Inc. has a job opening for an experienced statistician to lead and 
expand the statistical research capabilities of Brogan.

This will involve providing a wide range of advanced statistical 
expertise, guidance, and strategies to support various team members 
working at Brogan Inc., from assisting in Health Economic analyses to 
participation in developing and testing methodologies for new data 
products.

Responsibilities:

- Development of a detailed strategic plan for expanding the company's
   statistical scope.
- Develop a range of statistical procedures and tests for internal and
   external projects
    - longitudinal and time series analysis of administrative databases
    - sampling techniques
    - hypothesis testing
    - multivariate statistical regression models
    - probabilistic modelling
    - data mining
- Contribution to preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with other disciplines
   within the company

Fulfilling this role will require an individual who is a self-starter with 
keen problem-solving abilities and research ethics, coupled with strong 
initiative and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications:

- A Doctorate degree in statistics or biostatistics with at least 2 years'
   experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years' experience
   directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Sound knowledge of statistical theory and methods
- Ability to independently plan and implement complex statistical analyses
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and/or SAS programming, including use of
   advanced statistical procedures and manipulation of complex datasets
- Creative problem solver
- Ability to work with an interdisciplinary research team,
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral (English essential,
   French an asset).
