Postdoctoral Fellowships 2008-09

Description: Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellowship 
positions at the Fields Institute in Toronto for the 2008-2009 academic 
year.  The Thematic Program on Arithmetic Geometry, Hyperbolic Geometry 
and Related Topics will take place at the Institute July to December 2008 
and the Thematic Program on O-Minimal Structures and Real Analytic 
Geometry will take place at the Institute from January to June 2009. The 
fellowships provide for a period of engagement in research and 
participation in the activities of the Institute. They may be offered in 
conjunction with partner universities, through which a further period of 
support may be possible.

Eligibility: Qualified candidates who will have recently completed a PhD 
in a related area of the mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply.

Deadline: December 7, 2007, although late applications may be considered.
