Graduate course on the Web Graph: AARMS Summer School,
2006.

Dr. Anthony Bonato (Wilfrid Laurier) is offering an
AARMS Summer School course in Spring 2006 at Dalhousie
University in Halifax on The Web Graph and Internet
Mathematics.  The course is intended as an
introduction to models for the web graph and other
self-organizing networks. First courses in
combinatorics or graph theory, linear algebra, and
elementary probability theory are the suggested
prerequisites. More information on the course,

The summer school is intended for graduate students
and promising undergraduate students. All local
expenses are paid for the
students, and there is no registration fee. The course
will last 4 weeks. The course is a Dalhousie
University graduate course and
Dalhousie will facilitate transfer credit to the
extent possible.
