The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) invites the mathematical
community to the 2019 CMS Summer Meeting in Regina, Saskatchewan, from
June 7-10. All meeting activities are taking place at University of Regina. 

 

La Société mathématique du Canada (SMC) invite la communauté
mathématique à la Réunion d'été de la SMC 2019 qui se tiendra à Regina,
Saskatchewan du 7 au 10 juin. Toutes les activités auront lieu à
l’Université de Regina

The meeting starts off with a public lecture by *Nilima Nigam (SFU)*
followed by a welcome reception.

As of this summer, the CMS is organizing three-hour mini-courses to add
more value to meetings and make them attractive for students and
researchers to attend.

The mini-courses will be held on Friday afternoon, June 7th, before the
public lecture, and include topics suitable for graduate students,
postdocs and other interested parties. 

 

À partir de cet été, la SMC organisera des mini-cours de trois heures
pour accroître l’attrait de ses Réunions et inciter plus d’étudiants et
de chercheurs à y assister.

Les mini-cours auront lieu le vendredi 7 juin en après-midi, avant la
conférence publique, et porteront sur des sujets adaptés aux étudiants
des cycles supérieurs, aux postdoctorants ou à toute personne intéressée.
