Ce numéro contient:

- un reportage sur la Chaire Aisenstadt 2012 de Fedor Bogomolov; ses conférences ont été données dans le cadre de l'année thématique 2012-2013 sur les espaces de modules, l'extrémalité et les invariants globaux;

- un reportage sur le colloque sur les mathématiques appliquées à la gestion des risques tenu dans le cadre des Entretiens Jacques-Cartier de 2012;

- un article sur la conférence ICITS 2012 portant sur la sécurité de l'information;

- un compte rendu sur les trois premiers ateliers de l'année thématique 2012-2013 sur les espaces de modules;

- un article sur l'atelier conjoint CRM-Fields en théorie de Lie de dimension infinie;

- des résumés vibrants des conférences publiques d'Alain Aspect et de Nilima Nigam.

Il est également question de Bruce Reed, lauréat 2013 du Prix CRM-Fields-PIMS. Du côté de la relève, nous publions des rapports de stages de recherche internationaux effectués par des étudiants du CRM grâce au soutien du FRQNT. À l'international, on dresse un tableau des activités à Montréal et à Québec du programme mondial «Mathématiques de la planète Terre» incluant des présentations des programmes thématiques portant sur la biodiversité et évolution et sur les modèles et méthodes en écologie, épidémiologie et santé publique. Le Bulletin fait aussi mention de reconnaissances reçues par trois de nos membres: Gilles Brassard, Chantal David et Daniel Wise.

This issue includes:

- coverage of 2012 Aisenstadt Chair Fedor Bogomolov's talks given as part of the 2012-2013 thematic year on Moduli spaces, extremality and global invariants;

- a report on a workshop dealing with mathematical applications in risk management held during the Entretiens Jacques-Cartier of 2012;

- an article on the ICITS 2012 conference on information theoretic security;

- a report on the first three workshops of the 2012-2013 thematic year on moduli spaces;

- an article on the joint CRM-Fields workshop on Infinite-dimensional Lie theory;

- vibrants abstracts of public lectures given by Alain Aspect and Nilima Nigam.

The issue also includes an overview of Bruce Reed's work, winner of the 2013 CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize. As far as the new generation of mathematicians, we publish brief reports on international research internships held by four CRM students thanks to FRQNT's internship program. Internationally, we provide an overview of the
activities to be held at CRM within the Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013 thematic year; in particular, presentations of the thematic programs dealing with Biodiversity and evolution and with Models and methods in ecology, epidemiology and public health. The Bulletin also features news about three CRM members who have recently been recognized for their research excellence: Gilles Brassard, Chantal David and Daniel Wise.
