The new executive committee of the International Mathematical Union has been    announced on the IMU web site (www.mathunion.org). It is of interest to Canadians that Christiane Rousseau of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Université de Montreal has been elected as one of the two vice-presidents. 





La composition du nouveau comité exécutif de l’International Mathematical Union (IMU) a été annoncée sur le site Web de l'IMU (www.mathunion.org). Il est d'intérêt pour les Canadiens de savoir que Christiane Rousseau du Département de mathématiques et statistiques de l'Université de Montréal est l'une de deux vice-présidents élus.
