[cmath] CMS 2011 Krieger-Nelson Prize / Le prix Krieger-Nelson 2011 de la SMC

The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is pleased to announce that Rachel
Kuske from the University of British Columbia is the recipient of the 2011
Krieger-Nelson Prize in recognition of her outstanding research
contribution. Professor Kuske will receive her award in 2011 at the
Society’s Summer Meeting. 

The  <http://www.cms.math.ca/Prizes/info/kn> Krieger-Nelson Prize was
inaugurated in 1995 by the CMS to recognize female mathematicians who have
made an outstanding contribution to mathematical research. The award is
named after Cecelia Krieger, the first woman to earn a mathematics doctorate
from a Canadian university, and Evelyn Nelson, an ardent researcher,
referee, and reviewer.

La Société mathématique du Canada (SMC) a le plaisir d’annoncer que Rachel
Kuske de la University of British Columbia est lauréate du prix
Krieger-Nelson 2011, qui souligne sa contribution exceptionnelle à la
recherche. Professeure Kuske recevra son prix en 2011 au cours de la réunion
d’été de la SMC. 

La SMC a créé le  <http://www.cms.math.ca/Prix/info/kn.f> prix
Krieger-Nelson en 1995 afin de souligner le travail de mathématiciennes qui
ont fait une contribution exceptionnelle à la recherche en mathématique. Le
prix a été nommé en l’honneur de Cecelia Krieger, première femme à obtenir
un doctorat en mathématique d’une université canadienne, et d’Evelyn Nelson,
illustre chercheuse, arbitre et examinatrice.
