Tier II Canada Research Chair Position in Geometry and Topology of Manifolds

The Université du Québec à Montréal invites applications for a Tier II
Canada Research Chair position in the Department of Mathematics in geometry
and topology of manifolds (the position is conditional to a favorable
decision from the Canada Research Chairs program).
 
In accordance with the Canada research Chairs program
(www.chairs-chaires.gc.ca), Tier 2 chairs are awarded to researchers who
completed their Ph.D. less than 10 years ago and are recognized to be
leading young researchers.
 
The chairholder will be a member of the inter-university geometry and
topology research group, CIRGET (www.cirget.uqam.ca), and shall receive a
salary bonus, a research grant and a reduced teaching load for a period of
five years.
