The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a 
*10-month term appointment* in Statistics at the Lecturer or Assistant 
Professor level, subject to final budgetary approval.  Commencement date 
is August 13, 2007 or by arrangement.  Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in 
Statistics for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank or a Master=s 
in Statistics for appointment of the rank of Lecturer.   Candidates 
should also demonstrate a strong commitment to, and excellence in, 
undergraduate teaching.

 

Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae and 
evidence of teaching ability, including any available student 
evaluations.  Applicants must arrange for three (3) letters of reference 
to be sent directly to the Department from their referees. The closing 
date for applications is *June 22, 2007.* The University of Prince
