[cmath] MATHEON-MITACS Workshop in Germany

MITACS will subsidize a limited number of graduate students to participate in the following event. 

Workshop Title: "Complex Networks in the Life Sciences"

This upcoming workshop is jointly organized by DFG Research Center Matheon and MITACS. It will be held April 2 to 4, 2007 in Erkner near Berlin.

Our aim is to bring together researchers from different mathematical backgrounds (dynamical systems, numerical analysis, discrete mathematics, stochastics, ...) to discuss current mathematical approaches to modeling and analysis of biological networks and to identify opportunities for future collaboration.

Key topics will be:
        * molecular function and drug design
        * metabolic and regulatory networks
        * signal transduction
