Due to numerous requests for an extension, the
International Programme Committee (IPC) of ICMI
Study 19 on "Proof and Proving in Mathematics
Education" has agreed to move the deadline for
submission of papers from June 30, 2008 to August
31, 2008. The following are the new dates:

Submission deadline: Sunday, August 31, 2008
Notification of acceptance: Saturday, November 15, 2008

The Study conference will still be held on May 10-15, 2009 in Taipei, Taiwan.

The IPC would like to thank all those who have
already submitted their papers. We also urge
others to submit their papers at their earliest
