It is with considerable sadness that I inform you that Jim Totten 
passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008.

Although Jim retired from Thompson Rivers University in 2007, he 
continued his very valuable and considerable work as Editor-in Chief 
of CRUX with MAYHEM. He was a tireless worker, a respected colleague 
and a long-time friend of the Society.

His energy and passion will be greatly missed and the thoughts and 
sympathy of his friends and colleagues in the Society are with his 
family at this difficult time.

An Obituary is attached and a Celebration of Jim's life 
will be held at the Grand Hall in the Campus Activity 
Centre at TRU on Sunday, March 16th at 2:00 pm.
