(IKBSAS) at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus,
invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in applied
differential equations at the rank of Assistant Professor. The
position will be held in the Department of Computer Science,

related field, with specialization in applied differential
equations. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of
research productivity and proven ability to obtain external
funding in support of a successful program of research. They
must also show evidence of, or capacity for, excellence in
undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and learning; interest in
graduate teaching and supervision; and dedication to student
mentoring. They are also expected to show evidence of commitment
to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of a
respectful, collegial environment that is conducive to learning
and working.</p>

Physics, and Statistics, at UBC's Okanagan campus, is a dynamic
and highly interdisciplinary unit of nearly 30 faculty members
with research clusters in optimization, medical physics, and
data science. It is also very active in the scholarship of
