DUTIES:
</b>
</p>
<p>The instructor is to teach a total of six courses, three in the
fall and
three in the winter terms.
</p>
<p>The courses in each of the fall and winter terms are as follows
although
may be subject to change based on need and qualifications of
candidates:

<p>The topics to be covered in the courses are available from the
Chair of the
Department. Descriptions are also given in the Undergraduate
Calendar for
2017 – 2018, published by the Registrar's Office, Dalhousie
University.
</p>
<p>The instructor is responsible for all aspects of teaching,
grading and
administration of the classes and ion addition is to be available
for three
hours per week outside of class times for student consultation.
</p>
<p>The instructor reports to the Chair.
</p>

<p><b>
QUALIFICATIONS:
</b>
The candidate must possess a PhD and have experience teaching and
coordinating large multi-section statistics classes. Experience
with the
Minitab and R computer languages is essential, as is previous
experience
with Brightspace.
</p>
