When she was Director of the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) in 2008-09, she initiated the international year “Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013” under the patronage of UNESCO. In 2011-2015, she was Vice-president of the International Mathematical Union (IMU), and she continues as a member of the IMU Executive Committee for the 2015-2018 term.</font></div><div><font face="Arial"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial">***********</font></div><div><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><font face="Arial">Christiane Rousseau, membre du Centre de recherches mathématiques et professeure au Département de mathématiques et de statistique de l’Université de Montréal a été nommée membre du conseil scientifique de l’International Basic Sciences Programme (IBSP) de l’UNESCO pour un mandat de trois ans de 2015 à 2017.</font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Rappelons qu’elle a été présidente de la Société mathématique du Canada de 2002 à 2004.
