</B>May 16-18, 2012, the Institut des sciences mathématiques (ISM) will be holding a summer school for undergraduate and Master’s students interested in continuing their studies at the graduate level. The aim of the school is to present the ISM, its member universities, and its research groups, namely: analysis, algebra and number theory, combinatorics, non-linear dynamics, geometry and topology, financial mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematical physics, probability and statistics.<BR>

ISM Graduate Program in Mathematics<BR>
</B>The ISM, a unique consortium of eight Quebec universities, offers a unified graduate program in the mathematical sciences. Through specialized courses and seminars, graduate students quickly become part of inter-university research groups, making the transition from student to researcher perfectly natural. The ISM works closely with the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), a world-renowned mathematical research centre located in Montreal.<BR>

</B>Le 16-18 mai 2012, l’Institut des sciences mathématiques (ISM) organisera une école à l’intention des étudiants au baccalauréat et au début de la maîtrise qui ont l’intention de poursuivre leurs études aux cycles supérieurs. L’objectif de l’école est de présenter l’ISM, ses universités membres, et ses groupes de recherche, notamment en analyse, algèbre et théorie des nombres, combinatoire, dynamique nonlinéaire, géométrie et topologie, mathématiques financières, mathématiques appliquées, physique mathématique, probabilités, et statistique.<BR>

<B>Programme d’études supérieures en mathématiques de l’ISM<BR>
</B>L’Institut des sciences mathématiques (ISM), un consortium unique de huit universités québécoises, offre un programme unifié d’études supérieures en sciences mathématiques. En suivant des cours et des séminaires spécialisés, les étudiants aux cycles supérieurs s’intègrent rapidement à des groupes de recherche interuniversitaires et le passage du monde des étudiants à celui des chercheurs est ainsi parfaitement naturel. L’ISM travaille en étroite collaboration avec le Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), un centre de recherche mathématique de renommée internationale situé à Montréal.<BR>
