The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track
position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2011,
subject
to budgetary approval.
<p>Applicants in any area of pure mathematics will be considered, with
priority given to areas that support the Department's programs in
applicable mathematics. Applicants should have a PhD, evidence of
commitment to and superior ability in teaching, and an active program
of
research with strong potential for external funding. The Mathematics
Department is a dynamic part of Laurier's Faculty of Science, with a
focus
on applicable mathematics.

<p>Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, research plan, copies
of up to
three recent publications, and a teaching dossier (including teaching
evaluations), and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to:
