<p>Applications are invited for the Britton Postdoctoral Fellowship in
the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University
named after our former colleague Dr. Ronald F. Britton. These
fellowships provide opportunities to engage in research in
mathematics, with a limited amount of teaching, and they are
particularly suitable for talented mathematicians who have recently
completed their Ph.D. Positions are tenable for two or three years,
depending on the research project and the available funding. To learn

<p>The Fellowship is open to candidates of any nationality and
selection
will be based upon the candidate's research potential. Research areas
of particular interest include the Geometry and Topology of Manifolds,
Algebraic K-Theory, and Group Actions. The fellowship normally starts
<b>July 1, 2010
</b> and provides an annual stipend plus a $5,000 grant for
research expenses.
