<p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>MITACS is soliciting proposals
for new full and seed projects. Full projects are expected to have multi-year
duration with an annual budget of $100K to $160K (of which $75K-$120K is
provided by MITACS and the remaining 33% is provided by the partner
organization(s)). Seed projects in this competition are expected to have a 24
month duration with an annual budget of $45K to $75K (of which $30K-$50K
is provided by MITACS and the remaining 25% is provided by the partner
organization(s)). These projects must show potential to grow into full-scale
large projects. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Submissions should be sent
by email to <a href="mailto:mitacs@mitacs.ca">mitacs@mitacs.ca</a> and arrive
by <strong><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>September 18, 2009</span></strong>
to be eligible in this competition. New projects will be selected from
these on the recommendation of the Research Management Committee, with an
announcement of the selection and funding levels planned for March 2010, after
approval of the MITACS Board of Directors. Projects chosen by the MITACS
Research Management Committee (RMC) are expected to start on April 1, 2010.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

d’administration de MITACS, on prévoit annoncer les projets sélectionnés ainsi
que leurs niveaux de financement respectifs en mars 2010. Les projets retenus
par le Comité de gestion de la recherche (CGR) de MITACS débuteront le 1er
