</span> The CMS <a href="http://www.cms.math.ca/Docs/commlist.html#wmc">Committee
for Women in Mathematics</a><strong>,</strong> with support of the <a
href="http://www.cms.math.ca/">CMS</a> and <a
href="http://www.fields.utoronto.ca/" target="_blank">Fields Institute</a>,
is organizing the 4<sup>th</sup> workshop of <strong><em>Connecting
Women in Mathematics Across Canada</em></strong>
(<a href="http://www.cms.math.ca/Events/cwimac2008/.e">CWiMAC 2008</a>).
The purpose of the CWiMAC workshops is to support the
career development of junior female academics in the Canadian
mathematics community. <br>
<br>
CWiMAC 2008 will take place at the <a href="http://www.uottawa.ca/"
target="_blank">University of Ottawa</a> on December 4 and 5, 2008.
The workshop is just prior to the <a
href="http://www.cms.math.ca/Events/winter08/">CMS Winter 2008 Meeting</a>
and participants are encouraged to stay in Ottawa to attend that
meeting. All women in the mathematical sciences at Canadian
universities are invited to apply.

The early registration fee for each participant is $50 and is due by
November 25, 2008. The fee for participants registering after this date
is $75. This fee includes coffee breaks, one lunch, and one dinner.
Details on payment options will be sent via email after the
registration process is complete.
<br>
<br>
There is a limited amount of support to cover the registration fee and
part of the travel and accommodation expenses for graduate students,
postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. Deadline to apply for
financial support is November 1, 2008.

Le <a href="http://www.cms.math.ca/Docs/commliste.html#wmc">comité des
femmes dans les mathématiques de la SMC</a>, avec l'appui de la <a
href="http://www.smc.math.ca/">SMC</a> et l'<a
href="http://www.fields.utoronto.ca" target="_blank">institut Fields</a>,
organise le 4<sup>ème</sup> atelier des <strong><em>femmes en
mathématiques à travers le Canada</em></strong>

Le but de ces atelier CWiMAC est de soutenir le
développement de la vie professionnelle des universitaires féminins
juniors dans la communauté canadienne de mathématiques. CWiMAC 2008
aura lieu à l'<a href="http://www.uottawa.ca/" target="_blank">université
d'Ottawa</a> les 4 et 5 décembre 2008. <br>

L'atelier est juste avant la <a
href="http://www.cms.math.ca/Reunions/hiver08/.f">réunion d'hiver 2008
de la SMC</a>
et les participants sont encouragés à rester à Ottawa pour assister à
