OTTAWA, ON - The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is very excited to 
introduce its new weekly newsletter, “Math Matters”. With its first 
edition being distributed Friday, April 5, this newsletter will serve as 
a platform to keep the mathematical community updated on announcements, 
calls, submissions, events, and more.

*With Math Matters, the CMS hopes to streamline communication by 
consolidating most updates into one comprehensive weekly edition*, 
thereby reducing the frequency of emails received by our members. Math 
Matters will normally be distributed on Fridays, to all members of the 
CMS, as well as subscribers of the cmath mailing list.

Math Matters will also feature job advertisements, which will be 
showcased in the newsletter. Stay connected and informed with Math 
Matters as the CMS continues to foster collaboration and innovation 
within the field of mathematics. If you are not already subscribed to

de présenter son nouveau bulletin hebdomadaire, « Les maths comptent ». 
Ce bulletin, dont la première édition sera distribuée le vendredi 5 
avril, servira de plateforme pour tenir la communauté mathématique au 
courant des annonces, des appels, des soumissions, des événements, etc.

*Avec /Les maths comptent/, la SMC espère rationaliser la communication 
en regroupant les mises à jour dans une édition hebdomadaire complète*, 
réduisant ainsi la fréquence des courriels reçus par nos membres. En 
temps normal, /Les maths comptent/ sera distribué le vendredi à tous les 
membres de la SMC, ainsi qu'aux abonnés de la liste de diffusion cmath.

/Les maths comptent/affichera également des offres d'emploi,qui seront 
présentées dans le bulletin d'information.
