Dear mathematics and statistics students,

It is my pleasure to announce that the Winter 2023 edition of /Notes 
from the Margin/ is available now on the CMS Student Committee website. 
This edition features articles on group theory, Fourier series, some fun 
winter puzzles, and much more. Thank you to all of our contributors!

/Notes from the Margin/ accepts student writing on a broad range of 
mathematical topics, such as student research, mathematical history, 
opinion pieces, puzzles, and much more.

If you would like to submit an article for publication in the Summer 
2024 edition of the Margin email your LaTeX file, along with any 
associated image files, to student-editor at cms.math.ca 
<mailto:student-editor at cms.math.ca>. All submitted articles must be 
received by midnight on March 29th, 2024 for consideration in the Summer 
2024 publication.

Articles are typically 250-1000 words and submission guidelines can be
