[cmath] Notes from the Margin - Call for submissions

Dear Students,

Do you have a summer research project that you want to share with your
fellow math students? Or maybe you learned about an interesting historical
math anecdote? Or you have a new perspective on math education? *Then you
should submit your writing to **Notes from the Margin!* We publish student
writing on a wide range of mathematical topics. If you want to write about
it, we want to read it!



*Articles in the Margin are typically 250-1000 words* and cover topics such
as student research, opinion pieces, math games, and everything in
between.  New editions of the *Margin* are published twice a year, and are
available electronically on our website
https://studc.math.ca/notes-from-the-margin/. Physical copies are also
given to students at CMS meetings.



*The submission deadline for the Winter 2023 edition of the Margin is Oct.
1st at midnight*, but early submissions are appreciated! To submit your
article, email the .tex or .doc file, along with any associated image
files, to me at student-editor at cms.math.ca.
