The Canadian Mathematical Society is pleased to announce that Dr. 
Johanna G. Nešlehová (McGill University) has been named the recipient of 
the 2023 Krieger-Nelson Prize. Dr. Nešlehová is recognized for her 
exceptional contributions to Statistics, including multivariate 
analysis, stochastic dependence modeling, and extreme-value theory.
