The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is pleased to announce that Dr. 
David Oakden (Retired) has been named the recipient of 2022 Graham 
Wright Award for Distinguished Service.

Dr. Oakden has made consistent and significant contributions to the 
Canadian mathematical community and to the Canadian Mathematical 
Society. He has served as CMS Treasurer since 2013 and as a member of 
the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and 
Invested Funds Committee.
