The International Day of Mathematics<http://www.idm314.org> (IDM), March 14, 2022, will be held under the theme "Mathematics Unites".

1. Invitation to participate individually or with your classroom to the "Mathematics Unites" photo challenge<https://www.idm314.org/2022-photo-challenge.html> by March 1, 2022

2. Announce your celebrations at http://www.idm314.org: we can pre-announce and add information afterwards.

3. There is no such thing as too small a celebration. If you are short on time, you can simply use Proofs Without Words<https://www.idm314.org/resources/activities/idm-proofs-without-words-en.pdf?v=2> in your course to illustrate that the planet shares the same mathematical language.
Use the poster (coming soon) or have pins printed, using the resources from https://www.idm314.org/decorate.html, use the English logo<https://www.idm314.org/logos.html>.

4. Five international virtual celebrations<https://www.idm314.org/2022-global-event-program.html> on March 14 in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic with four 10-minute lectures each. The celebration in English will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on March 14 and the speakers are:

  *   Wilfred Ndifon (Rwanda)
  *   Katie Steckles (UK)
  *   Steven Strogatz (USA)
  *   Laura Wynter (Singapore)

5. Follow the 48-hour live coverage on March 14 (from 00:00 New Zealand time to midnight Pacific time) on http://www.idm314.org and on social networks.
