Dear Mathematical Community,

Interested in applications of algebraic geometry to the Langlands 
program? The Fields Academy shared graduate course /The Geometry of 
Local Arthur Packets/ 
(http://www.fields.utoronto.ca/activities/21-22/local-arthur-packets) shows 
how to use vanishing cycles of perverse sheaves on the moduli space of 
Langlands parameters to compute local Arthur packets and their stable 
distributions. Registration is now open
