Dear all,

The Centre de recherches mathématiques <http://www.crm.umontreal.ca/en/> 
will be hosting the virtual workshop "Women in Mathematics during the 
time of COVID" on International Women's Day, March 8th, 1PM-8PM EDT, 
aiming to raise awareness of the career challenges experienced by women 
mathematicians during the pandemic.

Four outstanding mathematicians will highlight their recent work, as 
well as the unusual circumstances that either led to it or challenged 
it. These talks will be followed by an informal panel discussion held in 
the evening, with a focus on the perspective of junior women mathematicians.

All members of the mathematical community are welcome. For more

femmes en mathématiques à l'époque de la COVID» lors de la Journée 
internationale des femmes, le 8 mars, de 13h à 20h HAE. Le but de cet 
événement est de sensibiliser le public aux défis professionnels 
rencontrés par les  mathématiciennes depuis le début de la pandémie.

Quatre mathématiciennes remarquables présenteront leurs travaux récents, 
ainsi que les circonstances inhabituelles auxquelles elles ont dû faire 
face. Ces discussions seront suivies d'une table ronde informelle qui se 
tiendra en soirée et qui portera sur les différents points de vue de 
jeunes mathématiciennes.

Les membres de la communauté mathématique sont toustes les bienvenu.e.s.
