Machine Learning (WID)*: The Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID) and
the Department of Biostatistics & Medical Informatics (BMI) at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison seek applicants for a tenure track
assistant or associate professor whose research focuses on machine
learning, or closely related areas of data science with an interest in
applications for healthcare and biomedical sciences. The Wisconsin
Institute for Discovery and the Department of Biostatistics & Medical
Informatics both offer vibrant research environments with a strong
interdisciplinary, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone
with a demonstrated interest in both machine learning algorithm
development and collaborative applications of machine learning to
biological or biomedical problems. This is a great opportunity if you
are interested in machine learning and its application to questions of
human health and biomedical science, and in doing this work in a highly
