The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Arts and
Science at MacEwan University invites applications for a full-time
tenure-track appointment in Mathematics at the rank of Assistant
Professor, commencing July 1, 2018, subject to final budgetary approval.

The department seeks a candidate who is engaged in research in Analysis.
Having research interests complementing existing strengths and interests
within the department would be an additional asset. The successful
candidate will teach a variety of introductory and advanced
undergraduate courses in mathematics and should expect a teaching load
of six courses a year.

Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics, demonstrate a
commitment to undergraduate teaching, and provide evidence of an ongoing
research program. Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum

statement of research interests, sample of scholarly work, and academic
