Position # 20914 CLTI – The Department of Mathematics and Statistics seeks to fill a 9.5-month contractually limited position at the rank of Instructor 1 effective August 1, 2017. The successful candidate should hold a Masters degree or have equivalent education and work experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching introductory statistics courses or labs and/or introductory mathematics courses.

The department seeks a dynamic individual, who has a strong commitment to teaching. Duties for the position include teaching one course each semester (e.g. Math 1013: Introductory Calculus and Math 1613: General linear algebra and calculus for business and economics), co-ordinating and instructing a number of statistics laboratories, and supervising undergraduate and graduate assistants. The successful applicant will also contribute to the service activities of the Department.
