The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is pleased to announce that
*Robert McCann *(University of Toronto)is the recipient of the 2017
Jeffery-Williams Prize!

McCann will receive his award and present a lecture at the beginning of
the 2017 Mathematical Congress of the Americas in Montreal
<https://mca2017.org/>, Quebec in July.

The CMS annually awards the Jeffery-Williams Prize to recognize
mathematicians who have made outstanding contributions to mathematical
research.
