The *Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee* (*CMS Studc*)
invite students (undergraduate and graduate) to present a talk on a
topic of their choice on*December 7th* at the *Student Research
Presentations Session* during the /2015 CMS Winter Meeting/
<http://cms.math.ca/Events/winter15/> in *Montreal, QC*.

These presentations should introduce the student’s research to a general
mathematical audience. If requested by the presenter,**an experienced
mentor will be available to provide feedback on the talk.

Any questions about the student sessions should be directed to the
student session organizers, *Svenja Huntemann* and *Muhammad Khan*,
at /studc-winter15-sessions at cms.math.ca/

To register for the session, contact the organizers of the session with
a draft abstract by *September 25th*. Notice of acceptance will be given
by September 28th. Abstracts submitted after this deadline will be
considered if space remains.

Presenters will also have to register for the meeting, which can be done
through /this form/ <https://cms.math.ca/Events/winter15/registration>.
Student members of the CMS who are presenting a poster or talk have
*significantly reduced registration costs* (*$30 until September 30th,
$45 thereafter*).If you are not currently a member of the CMS, talk to
your department chair about the possibility of becoming a
university-sponsored student member for a reduced fee.

There is a limited amount of travel support available for graduate
students. The deadline for applications to this fund is on *September
22nd*. More information on this funds can be found on /this page/

conférence sur le sujet de leur choix, le *7 décembre 2015*, dans la
session *Exposés de recherche d’étudiants*,**qui aura lieu lors de la
/Réunion d'hiver de la SMC 2015/

Ces exposés permettent de présenter la recherche effectuée par
l'étudiant à un large public mathématique. Si le présenteur le
désir, *un mentor expérimenté sera disponible pour lui donner une
rétroaction sur sa conférence*.

Pour vous inscrire à la session, contactez les organisateurs avec un
brouillon du résumé avant le *25 septembre*. Avis d'acceptationsera
donnée avant le 28 septembre. Les résumés soumis après cette date seront
considérées si l'espace restant.

Les présentateurs auront également à s’inscrire à la reunion.
L’inscription peut être complétée en utilisant /ce formulaire/

sont membres de la SMC et qui présentent une affiche ou une conférence
ont droit à un *tarif d'inscription réduit* (*30$ jusqu’au 30 septembre,
45$ par la suite*). Si vous n'êtes pas déjà membre de la SMC, demandez à
la direction de votre département s'il est possible de vous parrainer
afin de devenir membre étudiant universitaire et ainsi avoir accès au
tarif réduit. 

Les fonds prévus pour couvrir les frais de voyage pour les étudiants des
cycles supérieurs sont limités. La date limite pour envoyer les
applications à ce soutien financier est le* **22 septembre*. Plus
