[cmath] AARMS-Studc Student Poster Session // AARMS-Studc Session de présentations par affiches

The Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee (CMS Studc) and the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences (AARMS) invite students to present a poster on a topic of their choice on June 6th at the AARMS-CMS Student Poster Session during the 2015 CMS Summer Meeting (http://cms.math.ca/Events/summer15/) in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

To register for the poster session, both an abstract must be submitted and meeting registration must be paid by May 14th. Abstracts can be submitted on this page (https://cms.math.ca/Events/summer15/abs/Create/). For further information please visit the student page (https://cms.math.ca/Events/summer15/students) of the meeting website. Any other questions about the poster session should be directed to the poster session organizer, Muhammad Ali Khan, at studc-summer15-poster at cms.math.ca (mailto:studc-summer15-poster at cms.math.ca).

Presenters will also have to register for the meeting, which can be done through this form (https://cms.math.ca/Events/summer15/registration). Student members of the CMS who are presenting a poster or talk have significantly reduced registration costs ($30 until April 10th, $45 thereafter). If you are not currently a member of the CMS, talk to your department chair about the possibility of becoming a university-sponsored student member for a reduced fee.  

There is a limited amount of travel support available for graduate students. The deadline for applications to this fund is on March 15th. More information on the funds can be found on this page (https://cms.math.ca/Events/summer15/students).

Le Comité étudiant de la Société mathématique du Canada (Studc SMC) invite les étudiants à présenter une affiche sur le sujet de leur choix, samedi le 6 juin, à la session de présentations par affiches pour étudiants AARMS-SMC qui aura lieu lors de la Réunion d'été de la SMC 2015 (https://cms.math.ca/Reunions/ete15/) à Charlottetown, Î.-P.-É.

Pour vous inscrire à la session, un résumé doit être soumis et les frais d'inscription à la Réunion doivent être payés avant le 14 mai. Le résumé peut être soumis sur cette page (https://cms.math.ca/Reunions/ete15/res/Creer/). Les présentateurs auront également à s'inscrire à la réunion. L'inscription peut être complétée en utilisant ce formulaire (https://cms.math.ca/Reunions/ete15/registration). Les étudiants qui sont membres de la SMC et qui présentent une affiche ou une conférence ont droit à un tarif d'inscription réduit (30$ jusqu’au 10 avril, 45$ par la suite). Si vous n'êtes pas déjà membre de la SMC, demandez à la direction de votre département s'il est possible de vous parrainer afin de devenir membre étudiant universitaire et ainsi avoir accès au tarif réduit.

Les fonds prévus pour couvrir les frais de voyage pour les étudiants des cycles supérieurs sont limités. La date limite pour envoyer les applications à ce soutien financier est le 15 mars.
