The deadline for Winter 2015 submissions to Notes from the Margin has been extended to February 16th!

We are accepting opinion pieces, math-related stories, concise research-related articles, as well as puzzles and riddles for the Distractions page. We accept articles written in both English and French.

The Margin a semi-annual publication whose articles are intended for a wide audience and should be accessible to all those in the mathematical community starting from the second/third year undergraduates. It is delivered electronically to virtually all the Canadian undergraduate and graduate math students. In addition, the hard copies of the Margin are sent to the math departments of all the Canadian universities. For our most recent issues, check out our Issuu page at http://issuu.com/cms-studc.

La date limite des soumissions à Notes from the Margin pour l'édition d'hiver 2015 a été reportée au 16 février!  

On accepte des articles d'opinion, des récits mathématiques, des articles concis sur la recherche en mathématiques, ainsi que des puzzles et des charades pour notre page de distractions. On accepte les articles écrits en français ou en anglais.

Notes est une publication biannuelle qui comporte des articles destinés à un grand public et doivent être accessibles à tous les membres de la communauté mathématique à partir du niveau de la deuxième ou troisième année du baccalauréat. La publication est livrée électroniquement à presque tous les étudiants universitaires au Canada. De plus, des copies imprimées sont envoyées aux départements de mathématiques de toutes les universités canadiennes.
