[cmath] Second call for nominations to the Ribenboim prize in number theory

*Ribenboim Prize in Number Theory  (Second announcement)*

The Canadian Number Theory Association (CNTA) solicits nominations
for the Eight Ribenboim Prize, for distinguished research in number
theory by a mathematician who is Canadian or has connections to
Canadian mathematics.  This prize is normally awarded every 2--4
years in conjunction with a CNTA meeting. The intention is to award
the next prize at the 13th CNTA meeting to be held from June 16--20,
2014 in Ottawa, Ontario.

The prize winner will receive a certificate and medal and will give a
plenary talk at the CNTA meeting.  Normally the prize winner will
have received his or her Ph.D. within the last 12 years.  Nominators
should submit a letter of nomination, a citation of not more than 250
words, stating why the nominee should receive the award, a curriculum
vitae of at most 20 pages, including a list of publications, and the
names of 3 supporting references to the committee.

*Prix Ribenboim en théorie des nombres (seconde annonce)*

L'association canadienne de théorie des nombres (CNTA) sollicite des 
nominations

pour le huitième prix Ribenboim, en reconnaissance d'une contribution 
remarquable

à la théorie des nombres  accomplie par un jeune mathématicien canadien 
ou lié à la sphère

des mathématiques canadiennes.  Ce prix est accordé chaque deux ans lors

d'une conférence du CNTA.  Le prochain sera remis lors de la treizième 
conférence

de l'association qui se tiendra du 16 au 20 juin 2014 à Ottawa, Ontario.

Le récipiendaire du prix recevra un certificat et une médaille.  Il sera 
aussi

appelé à donner un exposé plénier lors de la conférence.  Le récipiendaire

devrait normalement avoir obtenu son doctorat depuis au plus 12 ans,

c'est-à-dire au plus tôt en 2002.  Les nominations doivent comporter

une lettre de nomination, une présentation du candidat n'excédant pas 250

mots expliquant pourquoi le candidat devrait recevoir ce prix, un curriculum

vitae d'au plus 20 pages incluant une liste de publications, et le nom 
de trois chercheurs

qui pourraient appuyer cette candidature.
