> In a worldwide call for application, young researchers in the fields of mathematics and computer science were given the opportunity to apply online for the 1st Heidelberg Laureate Forum until February 15, 2013. The Scientific Committee of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum has just selected the 200 most talented candidates out of almost 600 submitted applications.

> The Heidelberg Laureate Forum offers the extraordinary opportunity to meet some of the pre-eminent scientists in mathematics and computer science to a select group of young researchers.
