The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pure Mathematics to join a highly motivated team at the Clayton campus.  This position is part of the University's recent strengthening of mathematics.

You will undertake research and teaching in the area of pure mathematics.  Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in geometry, analysis, number theory, or algebra, although other areas will be considered.

To be successful in the role, you will have a PhD, an outstanding research record and proven teaching ability. This role is full-time; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.  Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
