Le numéro d'automne 2012 du Bulletin témoigne de la richesse et du dynamisme des activités scientifiques au Centre de recherches mathématiques. À savoir, un reportage sur les titulaires de Chaires Aisenstadt 2012 choisis pour leur pertinence et leur impact: Laszlo Erdös, Elon Lindenstrauss et Richard M. Schoen; leurs conférences ont été données dans le cadre du semestre thématique sur l'analyse géométrique et la théorie spectrale. Dans ce numéro, il est également question de Luc Vinet, lauréat 2012 du Prix ACP-CRM; du côté de la relève, nous soulignons les réalisations des jeunes lauréats des prix André-Aisenstadt 2012, Marco Gualtieri et Young-Heon Kim. À l'international, on dresse un tableau des activités à Montréal et à Québec du programme mondial «Mathématiques de la planète Terre». Puis Laurent Habsieger fait le bilan du succès d'une première année à l'Unité mixte internationale CNRS-CRM.

The 2012 Fall issue of le Bulletin reflects the wealth and vitality of scientific activities at the Centre de recherches mathématiques. Namely, a coverage of Aisenstadt Chairs 2012 chosen for their relevance and impact: Laszlo Erdös, Elon Lindenstrauss and Richard M. Schoen; their talks were given within the thematic semester on Geometric Analysis and Spectral Theory. In this issue, we also report on Luc Vinet, the 2012 CAP-CRM Prize in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics winner. As far as the new generation of mathematicians, we acknowledge the achievements of the two young 2012 André Aisenstadt Mathematics Prize winners, Marco Gualtieri and Young-Heon Kim. Internationally, we give a clear picture of the activities to be held in Montreal and Quebec within the Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013 thematic year. Then, Laurent Habsieger reviews the success of the first year of Unité mixte internationale CNRS-CRM.
