The CMS is pleased to announce that Teodor Banica (Toulouse),Serban 
Belinschi (Queen's), Mireille Capitaine (CNRS), and Benoît Collins 
(Ottawa) are the recipients of the 2012 G. de B. Robinson Award for 
their paper "Free Bessel Laws," published in the Canadian Journal of 
Mathematics (63:1 2011, 3-37;http://dx.doi.org/10.4153/CJM-2010-060-6).

The G. de B. Robinson Award <http://cms.math.ca/Prizes/info/gbr.html> 
was inaugurated to recognize the publication of excellent papers in the 
Canadian Journal of Mathematics <http://cms.math.ca/cjm/> and 
theCanadian Mathematical Bulletin <http://cms.math.ca/cmb/> and to
encourage the submission of the highest quality papers to these journals.
