*AARMS Summer School 2011*

The tenth annual Summer School sponsored by the Atlantic Association for
Research in the Mathematical Sciences (AARMS) will take place at
Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in St. John's, Newfoundland
and Labrador, Canada, during June 2-29, 2011. The school, which offers
courses in the mathematical sciences and their applications, is intended
for graduate students from all parts of the world. Each participant will
be expected to register for two courses each with five ninety-minute
lectures per week. These are graduate courses, approved by MUN, and we
will facilitate transfer credits to the extent possible.


For 2011 the following courses are planned:

*Analysis and Geometry of Partial Differential Equations*
Anreas Colesanti (University of Firenze) & Robert J. MaCann (University
of Toronto)

*Harmonic Analysis*
Yongsheng Han (Auburn University)

*Numerical Solution to Partial Differential Equations*
Weizhang Huang (University of Kansas)

*Mathematical Biology*
Troy Day (Queen's University) & Abba Gumel (University of Manitoba)
