[cmath] Tenure-Track Position in Statistics - University of Prince Edward Island

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Prince
Edward Island invites applications for a tenure-track position in
statistics starting July 1, 2010. This tenure track appointment will
normally be made at the Assistant Professor level. All positions are
subject to final budgetary approval.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in statistics at the date of
appointment and must have a strong research record with a demonstrated
capacity for independent research. They should have experience in
applied statistics and be able to establish links with other areas of
interest on campus such as biostatistics or actuarial science.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to and excellence in,
undergraduate teaching and must be able to provide leadership in the
development of the department's statistics offerings.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a
research outline, a statement on teaching, evidence of teaching ability,
including any available student evaluations. Applicants should arrange
for four letters of reference to be sent directly to the address below.
