The Canadian Science Policy Conference is happening in Toronto (Wed- 
Fri this week).

The current coordinator of the http://dontleavecanadabehind.wordpress.com/ 
    blog --which was established in response to the government's  
stimulus budget position on research and innovation-- is  attending  
and posting summaries and commentary during the conference. Most of  
the "usual suspects" of Canada's science policy are there, whether  
they have anything to say or not. But also some pleasant surprises...
