[cmath] Tenure-Track Position in Algebraic Geometry / Number Theory - McMaster University

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics, McMaster University, would 
like to hire a tenure-track faculty member at the level of Assistant or 
Associate Professor in the areas of Algebraic Geometry and Number Theory. 
Suitable applicants may be nominated for a Junior (Tier II) Canada 
Research Chair. The anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 
2010.

Candidates should have a PhD and clear evidence of a strong research 
programme in a major area of Algebraic Geometry or Number Theory. In order 
to be nominated for the Canada Research Chair, the successful applicant 
will need to establish that he or she is an excellent emerging researcher 
capable of creating research excellence and with the potential to achieve 
international recognition in their field in the next five to ten years.
