DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS
Tenure Track Position in Statistics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University is
undergoing a process of faculty renewal and will be making a number of
appointments in Mathematics and Statistics, subject to budgetary approval.
The department invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor
position in Statistics.
Applicants must have an earned doctorate and an excellent record of
publications in Statistics. Candidates should have some teaching
experience and the skills required to become an excellent teacher.
Duties for the position include: graduate teaching and supervision,
undergraduate teaching and the development of a vigorous research program.
Applications in all areas of Statistics will be considered. The closing
date for applications to the university is September 14, 2009.
