CAIMS 2009 – CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS 

Registrations are currently being accepted for the annual meeting of the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society (CAIMS 2009).  This year’s meeting will be held June 10-14 at the University of Western Ontario, and features a scientific program that includes both “thematic sessions” and “minisymposia.”

Thematic Sessions include: 

-Mathematical Finance
-Scientific/Symbolic Computing
-Mathematical Biology
-Dynamical Systems
-Theoretical Physics

Minisymposia include:

-PhD Students’ Minisymposium in Mathematical Finance
-Functional Differential Equations
-Non-linear Analysis and Differential Equations
-Modern Thermodynamics
-Mathematical Neuroscience

Registration for CAIMS 2009 closes May 26.  Early-bird discounts are only available until April 30.  

Contributed talks or posters need not fit a particular theme.  Submission of abstracts for both posters and talks closes May 15.  Proposals for minisymposia will be accepted until April 30.
