Tenure-Track Position in Mathematics and Statistics
St. Francis Xavier University
Applications are invited for two tenure-track appointments in Mathematics
and Statistics at St. Francis Xavier University to commence July 1, 2009,
subject to budgetary approval. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in
Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field. Salary and rank are
commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants from all areas
will be considered, but we are particularly interested in individuals
specializing in Probability, Applied Mathematics, and Algebra, and
candidates who exhibit a commitment to excellence in both teaching and
research. The successful candidates will be willing to teach some
introductory statistics courses. The selection process will commence
February 23, 2009 and continue until the position is filled. Applicants
