The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mount Allison
University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mathematics
in the area of mathematical modeling.
Candidates should have a Ph.D., a strong commitment to undergraduate
teaching and an established research programme capable of attracting
external funding. Established interdisciplinary research will be
considered an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to teach
undergraduate courses at all levels, including upper level courses in
mathematical modeling, differential equations and numerical analysis.
The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant
Professor and will normally commence on July 1, 2008, subject to budgetary
approval.
