Tenure-stream Assistant Professor

The University of Toronto is pleased to invite applications for a tenure- 
stream appointment to be held jointly between the Departments of 
Mathematics and Computer Science (Code: CSM). The appointment will be at 
the rank of Assistant Professor and will begin July 1, 2008.

Applicants must demonstrate excellence and outstanding promise in 
mathematical research as well as in computer science and strong commitment 
to graduate and undergraduate teaching in both departments. Salary will be 
commensurate with qualifications.

Application material must include the candidate's Curriculum Vitae and a 
list of publications. Applicants must also arrange for at least four 
letters of reference to be provided to the departments, at least one of 
which primarily addresses the candidate's teaching. Candidates are 
encouraged to supply a research statement, a teaching statement, and the
