Canada Research Chair Postdoctoral Fellowship
Applications are invited for the Canada Research Chair Postdoctoral
Fellowship in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster
University. This fellowship provides opportunities to spend up to three
years engaged in research, with a limited amount of teaching, and is
particularly suitable for talented mathematicians who have recently
completed the Ph.D. To learn more about the department, please visit

The Fellowship is open to candidates of any nationality and selection will
be based upon the candidate's research potential. Fellowship holders will
work under the supervision of Dr. Walter Craig, a holder of a Canada
Research Chair in Mathematics at McMaster University. Research areas of
particular interest include Analysis, Partial Differential Equations,
Hamiltonian Dynamical Systems and Applied Mathematics. The fellowship
normally starts July 1, 2008 and the annual stipend is $42,000 plus a
$5,000 grant for research expenses.
